President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the celebration of the 110th anniversary of Academician Mammadaga Shiraliyev.

"Member of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, laureate of the State prize, Honored worker of science, doctor of philology, professor Mammadtagi Shirali Shiraliev was the 110th anniversary of the birth of prominent linguist, in september 2019.
Significant research enriches linguistics with scientific importance for Azerbaijan, has made a commendable contribution to the formation and determining the direction of his most important academic Mammadaga Shiraliev. Scientists in the study of actual problems of linguistics and dialectology of turkological linguistics in Azerbaijan, especially the creation of a crucial role in the achievements. The first atlas of the dialects of the Azerbaijani language and vocabulary associated with the name of making Mammadaga Shiraliev. The USSR Academy of Sciences in Baku during a period of twenty years in influential publications in the international scientific community has become such a prestigious platform of turkic world, which was published under the guidance of the only magazine "Sovetskaya tyurkoloqiya" Mammadaga Shiraliev. Scientists at advanced theoretical knowledge learn the language courses for highly skilled linguists who made a great contribution to the training of personnel, as well as lectures at universities for years, but do everything in its power to ensure that the new generation of linguists in the country and beyond. Mammadaga Shiraliev, at the same time, the existing scientific potential of the country and the interests of the people was known as a skilful organizer of science who worked constantly to effective use.
The National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic to prepare and implement a plan of events on the 110th anniversary of academician Mammadaga Shiraliyev, the Cabinet of Ministers is entrusted to resolve issues arising from this order".
