On December 18, "Admiral Javadov. His path and service in the war" event will be held in the East Hall of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS,  dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Azerbaijan's first admiral Jalil Javadov (1918-1980).

Representatives of the Defense Ministry, including the Military Academy of the Armed Forces, the Azerbaijan Military School named after Heydar Aliyev, the Azerbaijan Military History Museum, as well as the Center for Military Patriotism and Specialist Training, AR Veterans' Organization, a number of state archives, museums, military historians and admirals' family members attended the event.

In addition, an exhibition featuring more than 50 exhibits of the museum and an admiral's life, as well as children's paintings entitled "Our First Admiral" will be demonstrated.

At the same time, PhD in history, Associate Professor Sabuhi Ahmedov's "Admiral Javadov. His path and service in the war" will be presented to readers.
